Sadly I don't own this book - a friend of mine picked it up in a bookshop in Edinburgh and I was able to took a photo of it. The pen and ink illustrations inside are even more impressive. Ardizzone(1900-1979) is one of the greatest British illustrators of the 20th century and I'd love to own one of his original illustrations (even though I don't imagine they're cheap!).
